Darkroom
Course that focuses on traditional silver gelatin printing and film development. Students gain skills in utilizing 35 mm cameras, light-metering, filters, dodging, burning, and spot toning. Course material was accompanied by historical and contemporary references in relation to the medium. Students participated in weekly tasks and class projects to further reinforce technical and conceptual growth.

From, Space, Color
Introduction of first-year program curriculum that focused on the elements and principles of design in photography, sculpture, and painting. Emphasis is placed on developing composition and design skills growth. Taught basic introduction to technical vocabulary skills, as well contemporary usages of the medium such as Adobe Photoshop and animation. Students participate in each section for nine class periods before rotating between instructors.

Photography Survery
Taught introduction to essential elements and principles of photography. Explored processes surrounding traditional and contemporary photography. Students cultivated imagery surrounding different forms of photography in still lifes, portraits, landscapes, street photography, abstract imagery. Students learned basic camera skills, lighting techniques, and Adobe Photoshop.
